How Established Is Your Business?

It was my Mum and Dads Wedding Anniversary today (55 years), and it’s got me thinking…
Do we make the most of our business anniversaries and of how long we have been running them?
I know that it always fills me with confidence when I see that a business has been established for a long time. Some well known brands certainly have dates to be proud of and they make the most of them don’t they. (Pop over to M&S and you’ll see EST 1884 right there under the logo)

We have lots of new and fairly young businesses with us at the Guild but many of us have been nurturing them like extra children  for a high number of years now and it is time that we shouted about that.

So I asked some of our members to tell us how established their businesses were:

LISU Handmade Wedding Jewellery is 5 years old, established in April 2012.

K.D Jewellery will be 4 years old on 10 November.

Designs by Dyannach was 6 years last July.

Quaint Little Perfectons is 5 years old, established 2012.

Blackberry Wedding Designs was 7 years old last April.

Spratt’s Designs is 4 years old, established in 2014.

Semi Precious Jens is 4 years old, established in 2014.

Fran’s Crafts is 5 years old, established in April 2012.

Beadie Eyed Edie is 7 years old, established in 2010.

ArtfulCrafter is 3 years old, established in August 2014.

Sweet Aromas is 5 years old, established in 2012.

Glitterwitch is 6 years old established in 2011.

The Shiny Zone is 5 years old, established in 2012.

Pig Corner Cards & Gifts is 10 years old, established in 2007.

Alessandra Handmade Creations is 4 years old, established in 2013.

Starlight Keepsakes and Gifts is 5 years old, established in 2012.

Sally Davies Silver is 3 years old, established in 2014.

Gran’s Knits’n’Bits is 5 years old, established in 2012.
